The final content update for Peak is here, and developers Landfall Games and Aggro Crab have packed in a lot of fresh stuff for us to see and try out. Not only do we get two new biomes as teased last week, but we also get additional items, achievements, as well as some much-needed bug fixes to leave Peak in a more stable space.
As the patch notes tell us for the Final Ascent, we'll have ten new achievements added in Peak alongside the release of the update. These are mostly related to the two new biomes, but some of them also require you to make the most of the new items, like flying 100m with the glider without touching the ground, or healing 75% of your health with the new Ritual Dagger.
While they're not as spectacular as clown luggage or jet packs, the bug fixes towards the end of the patch notes are welcome, as they hope to end some of our last, lingering woes while playing Peak. That awful glitch that sees you take tonnes of damage for no reason after you slide down a wall following your stamina running out is gone, and you won't freak people out with your arms twisting backwards as you pick up an item.
