A "new look" at the game is promised with director Naoki Hamaguchi set to take to the stage.

We know of yet another major game which will have its place in the Gamescom Opening Night Live show hosted on August 25 at 19:00 BST/20:00 CEST at the Koelnmesse in Germany.

The Geoff Keighley-hosted event will build on perhaps the biggest reveal from Summer Game Fest, as Square Enix will team back up with Keighley to bring Final Fantasy VII: Revelation to the German show to present "a new look at Final Fantasy VII: Revelation" during ONL.

In fact, the moment will be accompanied by game director Naoki Hamaguchi taking to the stage and likely providing plenty of added information and news about the project, somewhat talking us through the gameplay being presented, and hopefully rounding off with a firm launch date as well.

So if you're looking forward to this monumental conclusive chapter of the remade trilogy, don't miss ONL for plenty of fresh information and news.
