Mario took centre stage at today's Nintendo Direct as Satoru Iwata showed off a lot of new content in Super Mario 3D World.

The trailer shows off some pretty nice new feature the Double Cherry power-up and the Boomerang and Tanooki suits are also in there as well as the cat suits and some more exotic new ones.
