Mario Tennis Aces recently released to a rather positive reception (you can check out our review if you'd like), but while tennis may be the central theme, the game doesn't claim to offer realistic tennis mechanics or structures. Still, it would appear that some fans are quite unhappy with the lack of "real" tennis in the game.

According to a report from Twinfinite many consumers have taken to Reddit to complain about the lack of certain features, and are angry to the point where they're actively seeking refunds from Nintendo.

One example is the set structure, where Aces focuses on best-of-three matches, and lacks the normal standard of "sets" and "matches", which was also featured in previous games, something that has contributed to the frustration of some players.

Are you happy with Aces' approach to Tennis?
