Rumor: PSP2 a power house

1GB of RAM? No UMD? Touch panel?

Just like Playstation Phone, PSP2 is getting its fair share of rumors right now. VG247 reports that Sony have started to spread false rumors to zero in on the leak, which doesn't seem to be going well for them, and that the project is codenamed "Veta". Hang on, is that real or a false rumor? Is that a webcam hidden in my lamp? What are these strange noises coming from my phone...?

At the same time, Kotaku reports that sources have told them that the PSP2 will come with 1GB RAM (that's twice the amount that can be found in Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, if you're keeping count), will be completely free from UMD, have twin analogue sticks and have some form of touch panel on the back.

Sony are keeping their mouthes shut so far, but with this much rumor and speculation we can always hope that their silence won't last long.

As long as it doesn't look like this, I'm happy.
