As you surely know, October marks the release date of Call of Cthulhu, an adventure based on HP Lovecraft's wonderful and very weird ideas, but that isn't the only opportunity to explore this universe, as Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics now has a confirmed release date in October too.
Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics is based on the boardgame Achtung! Cthulhu Skirmish and looks to have taken inspiration from the Xcom games as well. The enemies are Lovecraftian beasts that the Nazis summoned by mistake during World War II, and are now helping their cause, meaning your job as head of Charlie Company it to put an end to this.
The release date is October 4 for PC, but Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics is also coming for PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One at a later date this year. The launch trailer for the game can be found below too, but does this sound like it can compete with Call of Cthulhu?
