Arguably one of the biggest shockers to emerge from Microsoft's E3 conference last night: Phantasy Star Online 2 is headed to the West.
Diehard Dreamcast and Sega fans alike might remember the classic online MMORPG and its sequel's absence outside of Japan. The game is finally releasing as a free-to-play title next year, and you can watch the hype-worthy announcement trailer below.
However, European fans shouldn't set their hopes too high just yet, as Sega has stated on Twitter that there's currently nothing to confirm regarding a release in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
Phantasy Star Online 2 is coming to PC and Xbox One in North America sometime during spring 2020. Check it out.
