Nintendo Labo: VR Kit

Patent for new Nintendo Labo VR headset discovered

This has a few extra features for comfort, although it's mostly the same as what we've already seen.

We already knew that Nintendo's Labo range included a VR kit as a tentative step into the world of virtual reality, but a new patent filed as of last month shows a new headset design, as reported by Nintendo Life.

This all looks rather similar to the headpiece we've come to know from the VR Kit, but there's foam for extra comfort and shielded lenses, both of which should help with immersion when using the headset.

Just as a reminder, Mario and Zelda are now playable in virtual reality via the Labo VR Kit, so we may well see more VR options for the Switch if a new headset is released.

REVIEW. Written by Tero Kerttula

"All in all, Labo VR is a really fun experience, one that each and every Switch player should try at least once."
