Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is an excellent platforming adventure with lovely pixel graphics, wonderful design and outstanding animations. So far, it has been released for PC, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, but now developers WayForward has announced on Twitter that another format will join the fun shortly - Xbox One.

March 16th marks the release date on Microsoft's console, and WayForward has also promised a "special launch week price". It is still not confirmed how much it will be, but this really is a game you should keep your eyes on, especially if you are into games like Duck Tales Remastered, Shovel Knight and Mega Man Legacy Collection.

Sadly, we still don't have any screenshots or a trailer from the Xbox One version, but according to WayForward, it is the same game as on Wii U, so here is the Wii U trailer to freshen up your memory.
