New Overwatch character revealed

Blizzard is finally done teasing.

Blizzard has been teasing us with hints of the next Overwatch character for quite some time, but now they've finally spilled the beans.

The hero is called Orisa, and is as we speculated earlier one of Efi Oladele's inventions. Orisa uses a rotating Fusion Driver as her primary weapon. Using the it's secondary mode, Orisa can fire a pulse that will suck enemies towards her or slow them down. She can also use fortify herself, which makes her immune to ability effects.

Her special ability lets her shoot protective barriers on teammates, while her ultimate, Supercharger, will increase the damage they do when inside its field.

You can hear Jeff Kaplan go into more specific details about her in the video below, and her origin story beneath that. Orisa is playable right now on the PTR servers.
