Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 out in November

Skateboarding, karate, surfing and sports climbing are added to the Olympic Games' line-up.

There wouldn't be an Olympic Games without a new Mario & Sonic game closely behind it. Sega is behind Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, adding new sporting events such as skateboarding, karate, surfing and rock climbing when the title launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch at the end of the year.

The new E3 trailer shows off some of the colourful competitive action with a new online multiplayer mode allowing friends to compete in both new and classic events. All the familiar faces from the Mushroom Kingdom and the Blue Blur's universes are here, as you can see below.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is launching on the Nintendo Switch this November.
