Maeda designs Sine Mora bosses

Japanese anime artist creates mech boss.

Sine Mora is dieselpunk shoot-em up due out on Xbox Live some time this year.

Co-developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Reality, Sine Mora will feature boss fights based on the concept designs of legendary anime artist Mahiro Maeda.

Maeda is the acclaimed director of Blue Submarine No. 6, Final Fantasy: Unlimited and The Animatrix - The Second Renaissance Parts I and II, although his most famous work is the animation sequence from Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Vol. 1.

With Maeda on board, this shooter looks like it might stand out from the crowd. We showed you the Normal Vs Insane video earlier this month, and it provides an opportunity to check out some of the boss battles.
