The first trailer for the last movie in the Skywalker saga was revealed just recently at the Star Wars Celebration in Chicago and apart from adding an official title to the anticipated film in The Rise of Skywalker, the trailer gave its audience plenty of teasers as to what Rey and the rest of the cast could be facing. The trailer has Rey showing off her acrobatic Jedi skills, Chewie celebrating space travel, Kylo wielding his unstable lightsaber and Carrie Fisher's Leia saying her final goodbyes to the Star Wars fans.
The episode is set years after Star Wars: The Last Jedi and has the rebels face the wrath of Kylo Ren and his forces. A vague detail in the end of the trailer, however, has fans of the franchise speculating whether Palpatine could be making an appearance with his laughter echoing over a shot of the wreckage of the Death Star.
