Left Alive officially launches today in the West, but it has already been out since February 28 in Japan, and has since received poor reviews, especially when it comes to Amazon. That may be why some Japanese streamers are reporting (thanks, Siliconera) that they're no longer able to stream the game, despite initially being able to.
Event scenes were the only things originally banned from being streamed, but now reports from the likes of Fei reveal that the whole thing is restricted. That doesn't mean we're unable to see gameplay though, as Square Enix recently provided a new gameplay video with dev commentary.
The game launches for PC and PS4, and we'll have to wait to see whether this streaming ban is in place for Western audiences too. Gamereactor has reached out to Square Enix to clarify the matter both in Japan and for the West.
