Hi-Rez Studios, developers of third person-shooter meets MMO Global Agenda, has announced that they've managed to buy the rights to classic action shooter Tribes. They've set up two teams, one that will keep working on Global Agenda while the other works on a new Tribes-game that is supposed to go into alpha testing at some point during early 2011.
Hi-Rez say they are still dedicated to Global Agenda, which went from subscription based to full free to play (after you pick up the box) a while ago. What did we think about it when it was released? We liked it.
