Fidget Spinners will get you arrested in Los Santos

Unless you've been living under a rock for the last few months, then you've no doubt encountered 2017's most bizarre fad, fidget spinners. Well, as if they aren't bad enough in real life, canny modder Quechus13 has added them into Rockstar's open-world hit, Grand Theft Auto V.

Don't expect your use of the stress relieving toy in-game to be greeted by applause, though, as NPC's run in terror and cops draw their guns in defence against the confusing nature of the children's plaything.

The cause of this outlandish reaction is the fact that in Quechus13's mod fidget spinners take the place grenades, so NPC's react in the same way as they would to someone brandishing a dangerous explosive.

This isn't Quechus13's first rodeo either, the modder has serval other add-ons for Grand Theft Auto V's universe. They've created new in-game locations such as Superman's hideout, the Fortress of Solitude, and added playable characters such as Boo Mario and Yooka Laylee. The Grand Theft Auto modding scene is a strange place indeed.
