Bandai Namco has finally announced the release date for 11-11: Memories Retold, a game developed by Aardman and DigixArt, and inspired by real events. The narrative adventure, which is set during the First World War, will be available on November 8 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
11-11: Memories Retold follows the story of two characters, Kurt and Harry, and their pet companions. As the headline alluded to, there are two notable actors, Elijah Wood and Sebastian Koch, attached to the project.
Elijah Wood isn't new to video games; he worked on Double Fine's Broken Age a few years ago and he even has his own game-focused production studio, SpectreVision. Here he lends his voice to Harry, a Canadian-American photographer who participates in the First World War only to find out firsthand the realities of war. Meanwhile, Homeland star Sebastian Koch will play a pacifist driven by a sense of duty.
