Even though last year's Hitman's publishing model didn't convince everyone, we truly enjoyed its first season from beginning to end (read our review). And while it didn't reach the levels in terms of quality and fun of the Sapienza mission, the Paris chapter was a great introduction to the latest effort by IO Interactive.
Now this French location (the second if you count the prologue) will be completely free during Christmas, making it easier for new players to give the unique assassination game a try. IO Interactive just announced that the chapter will be offered for free starting tomorrow (December 15) and until January 5. Besides, the map includes the free thematic content 'Holiday Hoarders', meaning new activities and decoration for the city. This is all part of an initiative called the Hitman Holiday Pack.
As a nice holiday gesture, the Danish studio "is giving this gift to all players so please do your bit this holiday season whatever you can do from giving money to a charity or offering your time to someone who needs it".
Hitman is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and the offer is available across all platforms.
Do you feel like adding some murder to your holiday plans?
