From the creators of Dead by Daylight comes Deathgarden (now with the sub-title Bloodharvest), an online multiplayer survival game pitting players against one another in deathly arena-based matches. After spending nearly a year in Early Access, the title has received a massive new update.

In Deathgarden, you play as either a scavenger or hunter player class. The former's task is to escape the battleground by delivering blood to the map's allocated blood banks or surviving the match until the timer runs out. Hunters have to lay waste to the opposing scavengers before they're able to escape to win the match.

The Bloodharvest upgrade comes with new procedurally-generated maps, eight new characters, and revamped progression mechanics which reward the player with currency and XP for every action to suit their unique playstyle. The devs also shared first details of the new Terminator T-800 Endoskeleton player skin.

To celebrate the game's renewed Early Access release on Steam, Deathgarden: Bloodharvest will be discounted for a week before returning to its full price. If you're still on the fence, the game is also available to play for free from May 30th to June 2nd.

Behaviour Interactive is also rewarding early adopters of the original Deathgarden with legacy cosmetics, a VIP flair, as well as transferring player unlocks to the new version of the game, and you can find out more about that here.
