Nintendo's pulled out a surprise at its Wii U conference by announcing development of Bayonetta 2 exclusively for the new console.
Details are thin on the ground, but the announcement was backed by a short teaser trailer showing Bayonetta's iconic gun-heels going to work, before a new white-clad figure dropped onto the screen.
It joins the other already announced Platinum Games title The Wonderful 101 to the console. That it's being published by Nintendo is huge news, given that Platinum's history has tied the Japanese developer to Sega since its inception and the recent issues with Anarchy Reigns no-show in the West.
