Overwatch is a genre space that is fiercely competitive, but Blizzard usually doesn't shy away from competitive space given Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm or even World of Warcraft back in the day. This new first person shooter takes inspiration from many sources, and in the following gameplay clip the character Tracer shows a different combat style. This agile soldier sports dual-wielding pistols and deploys several special abilities, including some sort of teleporting similar to Corvo's Blink in Dishonored.
It has to be underlined that the 7-minutes video contains a full match from an early version of the game, but still impresses. Overwatch seems to be nailing the formula to combine a diverse powers-powered heroes roster with a map design reminiscent of those from both Team Fortress and Unreal Tournament.
