Arvind Bhatia, analyst at Stern Agee has shared his expectations of sales for Grand Theft Auto V, and he's not keeping things modest. The analyst believes Rockstar's upcoming game will do a massive 14 million at launch.
For comparison Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 sold 6.5 million copies in the UK and US alone in its first 24 hours and grossed $775 million globally in its first five days. The analyst is probably talking about a longer launch period, perhaps even the first quarter during which the product is out, but it still indicates just how highly the market thinks of GTA.
