The Kickstarter campaign to fund the recording of the Video Games Live Level 3 album has hit its target, with $257,286 raised as of time of writing, and 28 hours left before its close - the campaign's goal was $250,000.
The funding means that campaign founder and musician Tommy Tallarico will be able to fund recording and producing of the album, which includes full orchestral arrangements of Diablo III, Street Fighter II and Journey themes to name but three, with between 15 and 18 tracks expected on the final album. It's due to release February next year.
