Sony has reportedly announced the price tag for the Japanese launch titles Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Hot Shot Golf 6, weighing in at £50 for retail, and £40 for digital download.
The report comes by way of Andriasang (picked up by MCV), who detail a ¥5,980 official RRP (£49.86 on conversion) for a boxed copy of Uncharted - but Sony is offering a downloadable version for slightly cheaper, at ¥4,900 (£40.85).
Hot Shots Golf 6 will have a reduced price structure - ¥4,980 retail (£41.53), ¥3,980 (£33.20) download.
If conversions are kept in the UK launch, it means Sony's PS Vita titles will set a new benchmark in the handheld market, which has commonly been associated with lower retail prices in the past. The two-tier price structure between the games - Hot Shots Golf 6 being ten pounds lower than Uncharted, in both retail and download - might suggest premium titles will be marked up on launch.
