Gamereactor UK is expanding, and we're looking for an enthusiastic new member of staff to join the team. Here's the official bit:
Candidates for the role will be expected to work in expanding the Gamereactor brand across the UK and abroad, and produce well-written copy across news, previews, reviews and features to tight daily and weekly deadlines.
You'll be expected to work across all areas of the site and brand as circumstance demands, as well as contributing video content, while liaising with and working alongside international teams across Gamereactor's European branches across the website, eMag and iPad Editions of Gamereactor Magazine.
Successful applicants will need to be highly enthusiastic in the job and passionate about gaming, highly skilled and self-motivated, and actively contribute ideas for features, GRTV content and community integration on the site and still match work deadlines. They also must be able to apply themselves to all levels of the job as and when they're required, and be expected to work outside standard office hours if and when circumstance demands it.
An intimate knowledge of the industry both past and present is essential, as is having access to current supported formats - Xbox 360, PS3, 3DS, Wii, PC, iOS, Android. The ability to use current photo video editing programs is preferred. Applicants must ideally have an established background in the industry, and have already had work published in either online or print.
The successful applicant will work from home, but due to the nature of the job will be expected to commute either abroad or to London for events and company-related meetings, and therefore entrants located near the capital are preferred. A desire to build a career within the company and the industry is essential.
Salary: qualification-based.
