OnLive, the Cloud-based gaming platform, will be released in the UK on September 22nd and over access to over 100 titles on launch.
The system, which allows players to access multiple titles remotely either through an online portal with PCs and tablets, or through TV with a small MicroConsole TV adapter (see picture) similar to an Apple TV box, promises to deliver high-end gaming experiences to all.
Games are accessed and installed on remote servers that handle all the hardware grunt work, letting even low-spec machines stream the games straight to their screen. All that's required is a broadband connection.
Sign up is free, and come launch you'll be able to download free demos instantly, as well as exclusive spectator features.
There'll be a mixture of game bundles at different price points on offer as well. Price point for the TV adapter (that comes bundled with a controller) is still to be decided.
