Sony's Enfield-based DADC centre was set alight during last night's riots which broke out across London. Firefighters are believed to be still tackling the blaze.
As reported by Reuters while the extent of the damage of the warehouse is still unknown, Sony believes it'll cause problems with UK delivery of its DVD products.
"There will likely be some impact on deliveries," the company's Yoko Yasukochi stated. "We cannot determine the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage yet because it's not possible to enter the building."
The fire comes after a third night of rioting in the capital, which has also seen retail stores, such as GAME, being vandalised and looted during nights of sporadic attacks throughout London's boroughs.
