With the resounding success of the Infinity Saga, the announcement of phase four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the upcoming launch of Disney+ Marvel shows already in the works. The Walt Disney Company has decided to promote the mastermind behind it all, Kevin Feige to Chief Creative Officer, giving him control over all of Marvel's cinema, TV and animated projects.
The move comes after the stellar year the MCU netted, landing around $5 billion at the global box office, as well as making Avengers: Endgame the highest-grossing film of all time. The real question everyone is asking is how Feige has the time to manage all these high-quality projects, especially since he was recently noted to be working on a Star Wars movie for Lucasfilm.
As for the structure of Marvel Entertainment after this change, the positions and key names in the company will remain as they were, reports Deadline. Although, the prominent figures will now report to Feige, who will still report directly to Alan Horn and Alan Bergman, the Disney Co-Chairmen.
What do you think Feige has planned for the overall scheme of Marvel Entertainment?
