The next line of Marvel Cinematic Universe development was initially revealed at the D23 expo earlier this year. Among a whole range of new films set to be produced and released, several TV shows were announced, each to be launched on the upcoming Disney streaming service, Disney+ exclusively.

So far, we have been shown the plans to create a few shows, with four currently being based on MCU characters, those being; Loki, Hawkeye, Falcon and the Winter Soldier and even Vision and Scarlett Witch. When they were originally revealed, the question on whether these shows would have the same production quality as the films presented itself, according to Variety, Marvel has already thought about this.
As reported by Variety, they state an individual with knowledge of the productions has said the shows will run approximately 6 to 8 episodes in length, with budgets comparable to the Marvel film projects, which are slated to run between $100 and $150 million. More so, this same individual has stated that Marvel executives and Kevin Feige, the producer and president behind Marvel Studios, have held meetings early on to discuss how to keep up the same level of quality between movies and the TV shows.
To get an understanding of the difference this should make, the Netflix-Marvel shows such as Jessica Jones and Daredevil was reported by Variety in 2014 to have a total $200 million budget for all of their first seasons combined. This gave them approximately $3.8 million per episode, compared to the newly proposed and approximately calculated $15 million per episode for the Disney+ shows.
Whether this budget plan does end up going into effect has not been officially confirmed, although from what has been suggested so far, these proposed shows are looking to be some of the highlights of the Disney+ streaming service.
