FaZe Clan partners with Manchester City FC

The collaboration between the esports organisation and the football club promises "to bring together the two audiences in exciting ways."

Global esports organisation FaZe Clan has recently revealed a new partnership with Premier League team, Manchester City Football Club. The collaboration, which was officially announced yesterday in a press release on City's website claims the deal will "bring together the two audiences in exciting new ways."

"Esports is the world's fastest growing spectator sport and collaboration with FaZe Clan marks the start of an exciting new chapter in Manchester City's esports journey" said Nuria Tarre, chief marketing officer at City Football Group. "We recognise that fans want to celebrate their love for football across many aspects of their lives, including fashion, music and gaming, to create a culture that goes beyond what happens on the pitch. We are looking forward to working with FaZe Clan to provide our fans with new and immersive ways to engage with the Club."

The partnership bringing together the two organisations plans to create content with talent and players, alongside hosting special events all across the globe. City and FaZe also plan on bringing their FIFA players together to a shared training facility as well as launching limited edition, co-branded retail products.

"FaZe Clan will continue to push the boundaries of gaming and esports by engaging our fans with experiences that are meaningful, memorable and surprising."
