Deathsmiles iOS dated

Cave shooter flies onto iPhone in July.

Deathsmiles, the side-scrolling shooter that received good reviews upon its port from arcades to Xbox 360, is hitting iPhone and iTouch on July 7th.

Andriasang is reporting that for the first for days of sale, the game will carry a $4.99 download price. While specific regional releases aren't touched on, expect somewhere around five quid when it hits the UK App Store.

The game will include the original Arcade mode plus an iPhone mode, the latter offering a new story and controllable character.
