One of the Xbox One's exclusive titles has seemingly been let out of the bag early.

A member of NeoGaf has managed to download the latest electronic edition of US magazine Game Informer early, with the issue cover feature a game called, Titanfall, with the piece carrying the tagline "Respawn debuts its bold new vision for next-gen multiplayer".

The game's reportedly a first-person sci-fi shooter with a mix of NPC and human player combatants, with players able to pilot large mechs called titans (or go on foot and have the titan working as a support role), and is built on the Source engine. The name corroborates with the domain name that was registered a few months ago.

The same NeoGaf poster details the article within the magazine, stating that the game is for Xbox One and PC, with a Xbox 360 version "being developed by someone else". This info also ties into the rumour the game was due to be a system exclusive.

You can check out the cover on the Google Play Store. All eyes turn now to both EA and Microsoft's conferences next week.
