Classic Sega brawler rises from grave

Revered four-player beat'em up Guardian Heroes, developed by Treasure and published Sega on the latter's Saturn console, is joining Treasure's quality back catalogue on XBLA.

The game plays like a fantasy version of Streets of Rage, but lets the players switch between multiple fighting planes (ala Fatal Fury) and has one of the biggest unlockable character selection screens this side of Marvel Vs Capcom 2.

Check out the screens here. They are decked out in a new filter for the port, but hopefully the original art-style, with it's big bold visuals, will be a selectable option come its release later this year.
