Remember the name (though its hard not to). Created by indie outfit Pwnee Studios and published by Ubisoft, the platformer, three years in development, could be one of the hardest titles in the genre we've ever played: and that's even after getting a black belt in Super Meat Boy.

Shown as part of the publisher's digital event earlier this week, Cloudberry Kingdom splits its gameplay into standard Story mode, Arcade and Free Play, with sub-modes within.

The level count is posted somewhere in the high hundreds, and survival is only through split-second twitch reactions - we've seen levels were you're having to weave through a tiny gap in a wall of swinging spikes, hit a character-width floating platform exactly right to project you through multiple firing lasers and jump-bounce off enemies to the next section. And that's just the first screen.

The game's due later this year for all major platforms, with four-player included...we're not entirely sure whether we're looking forward to it. Check out the screens below.
