HMV has released a free App for iPhone and Android mobile phones that allow you to scan the barcodes of your games to find out their potential trade-in value.
The scheme, as part of the company's Re/Play trade-in system, doubles your mobile's camera as a barcode reader with the App, or alternatively you can enter in the code manually.
The App will also flag up the nearest HMV store to take your wares to. Credit for your trade-ins can be used against anything in store, including CDs and DVDs.
