Microsoft is calling for US residents to apply to be part of the next Preview Program. All par of the course, but interestingly the preview is listed as Xbox 360 System Preview program, and the company is using the preview to "prepare for an updated Xbox 360 disc format."
The announcement, made via Microsoft's director of programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb's official blog was lacking in any concrete detail, apart from the company actively looking for "thousands of participants" and that the beta was limited to US "due to disc distribution limitations."
With some games having to be split between two discs, is the company implementing tinkering to increase disc storage to solve the problem?
