HD Resident Evils go digital this fall
The HD remakes of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil X: Code Veronica, will be be released via digital distribution this coming winter on both PS3 and Xbox 360.
Unlike Japan, which is getting the titles bundled together in a retail release, the games will be offered as two separate downloads in the West. The releases are to coincide with the franchise's fifteenth anniversary - hard to believe its been a decade and a half since the Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and the rest of S.T.A.R.S entered the mansion in the original Resident Evil.
No prices or download sizes have been announced yet. So let's celebrate the dual announcement firstly by checking out the five comparison shots between the standard and HD versions below, and then with the original's live-action opening.
