If you're intent on queuing for a Nintendo 3DS come launch in a few weeks and are anywhere near London, you might want to think about swinging by HMV's flagship store on Oxford Street as the company is hosting the official launch event for the console.
Its joined by 99 other stores country-wide that are opening their doors to see in the console's launch from midnight. But the first fifty people in the queue at the flagship store will be offered a free 3DS game to go along with their purchase. Entry to the store will be purely on a first come, first served basis as the company hands out wrist-bands in the lead up to the doors opening, reports trade site MCV.
There's a VIP event happening at the same time at Old Billingsgate - lucky Nintendo Club members will be sent an email later today, while competitions for passes will be held in the Metro newspaper and on XFM leading up to the launch.
