It's been quite a few years since an Assassin's Creed game didn't leak before Ubisoft's official announcement, and it seemed like the next instalment would be no different when rumours claimed that the next game after Assassin's Creed Origins would take us to Ancient Greece back in March. Ubisoft refused to say anything about the rumours though, so things calmed down after a while. Now, however, it's time to get the rumour mill spinning for real again.
The folks over at Jeuxvideo have gotten their hands on a photo of a key chain for Assassin's Creed Odyssey. It doesn't just confirm the game's title either, as the helmet clearly indicates that the rumours of a Greek setting are spot on as well.
Ubisoft declined to comment on the photo when we contacted them, but this, the rumours from March, and Walmart's big E3 leak should convince most of you out there that this is indeed real. Now we'll just have to wait for the official details and launch date.
Is this the setting you were hoping for?
