if you were looking forward to the imminent release of Scribblenauts Unlimited, bad news: the Wii U and 3DS title has been delayed.

The reasons are vague, with Nintendo only saying that "it has come to light that some changes need to be implemented" in an official statement. A new release date has yet to be announced.

Nintendo's official statment in full is as follows:

"We are sorry to announce that Scribblenauts Unlimited, a game developed by Warner Bros. Interactive & 5th Cell and published by Nintendo of Europe for both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, will be delayed in Europe. It has come to light that some changes need to be implemented within the game before we launch them across Europe. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope to make further announcements on the European launch of these games very soon.

Warner Bros. Interactive & 5th Cell are implementing some necessary tweaks within the game. They are working hard to make these changes as quickly as possible and we are sorry for the delay and any inconvenience this may have caused. Further announcements for the European launch of these games will be made soon."
