Dark Energy clearly isn't ready to leave the water just yet.

After XBLA title Hydrophobia nearly sunk without a trace upon its release last year, it was resurrected, re-released and carried the subtitle 'Pure', to acknowledge that the issues of the original were apparently addressed.

Now the developer is taking further steps to make sure its title is everything it should be by opening a community-based Listening Post dedicated to player feedback.

As Pete Jones, Joint Creative Director, states on the website: "We believe there should be a two way relationship between developer and players, and as such we are committed to continuing the philosophy of collecting and acting upon your feedback to our games."

The game is open for comments and polls, dividing up the categories between presentation, gameplay, combat gameplay and story. The developer will prioritise features that receive glowing feedback in future work.

It all sounds a little bit X-Factor to us, but it'll be interesting to see how this pans out in the long run.
