Sony's American branch has sued PS3 hacker George Holtz, members of failOverflow and many others after key details and cracks for its PlayStation 3, that let hackers navigate past in-built security and exploit the system, were published online.

Hotz has published the case against him online, with Sony seeking a restraining order to stop the publishing of his findings.

Gameindustry.biz has broken down the filing's details, explaining Hotz has ten days to hand over hardware and software relating to the case to Sony's legal team.
