We're now used to TT being consistent with its Lego-ised take on popular family movies, and after the British developer polished off the decent Lego Harry Potter, there was a range of guesses where it'd stick it's blocky gaming men next.

Well, Warner Bros has announced that it's working on Lego Ninjago: The Videogame, to hit the Nintendo DS this spring. the lego ninjas will be trained in Spinjitzu, that little known ninja art of spinning to become tornadoes in order to beat their foes. Campaign will be split in two to balance the good and evil sides of the conflict.

To coincide with the announcement, a Ninja-themed adventure zone, called Crux Prime, will be rolled into the Lego Universe MMO, offering one hundred missions and pieces of gear to collect.

As these things go, there'll be a influx of tie-in merchandise, such as Lego sets and figures, which are sneaking into shops from about now, and undoubtably breaking ninja code by being seen.
