Nintendo has detailed the Japanese 3DS launch, listing what games will be released alongside the hardware, as well the unit's battery life, and the projections for the opening sales figures.
As outlined by Gamesindustry.biz the public event, held in Tokyo, had the company explaining what we can expect come February 26.
The 3DS launch is bolstered by strong mix of titles from both first and third party software, reflecting the wide support the handheld has received since its announcement last year at E3.
Big name titles on day one include Super Street Fighter IV, Pro Evolution Soccer, Professor Layton, Ridge Racer and Nintendogs + Cats. The console will also get Samurai Warriors: Chronicles, Puzzle Bobble, along with Ubisoft's Combat of Giants.
Nintendo's other franchises will have their release dates staggered through the rest of the year. Zelda and Pilotwings will hit this spring, followed by Star Fox and Kid Icarus in summer, and tailed in winter by and Mario Kart and Paper Mario.
Nintendo discussed the battery life of the 3DS, with a 3.5 hour charge time giving you 3 to 5 hours with the 3D setting enabled, and 5 - 8 hours without.
