Google Chrome's US branch has opened the Chrome Web Store, offering a multitude of games alongside Apps and website extensions.

Similar to Apple's App Store, Google divides its gaming wares by genre, and offers sidebars detailing the top selling 'paid for' content, as well as covering the best staff picks from the bunch.

Gaming companies already releasing titles on the service include Namco and EA. The latter of which has FIFA Superstars, Lords of Ultima, Mirror's Edge 2D, and Tiger Woods PGA TOUR Online all available on the Web Store right now.
