Capcom has just released these new screens for its upcoming two-wheeled racer MotoGP 10/11, which is due to hit retail shelves next March, along with a slew of new gameplay information.
Developer Monumental Games is still tinkering with the franchise's chassis after last year's effort, and this season's iteration will see the inclusion of a local split-screen co-op that'll be rolled into the Career, allowing you and a friend to team up on the race track. The game will still include the twenty-player competitive online multiplayer from last year.
The game will also include customizable Player Assists, letting you decide how much control you want over the bike's handling, giving you the option to notch your experience closer to an authentic simulation or arcade action.
Downloadable updates will be released after the 2011 Championship starts to keep the title as close to its real-world counterpart as possible.
The screens and details come on the heels of news that the UK-based development studio is receiving staff cuts, due to an unexpected cancellation of a future unnamed project. The news was confirmed by CEO Rik Alexander to game website Develop.
However, Monumental seems keen to improve on its work from 09/10, but is it enough to make you reach for your racing leathers?
