The clocks are ringing in the end of the week and the beginning of another glorious 48 hours of freedom and gaming. Before you settle into your preferred title, here's what's been happening today.

The day started with news that Sony's All-Stars Battle Royale will be getting two new DLC characters next year. The company's also announced some sales figures for the PS3 and PS Vita.

On the movie front, Deus Ex's cinema adaptation has snagged a director and writer, all in the form of one person.

Star Wars: The Old Republic has finally went F2P, while Grand Theft Auto: Vice City has been stopped in its tracks on Steam.

Those disappointed that Rayman Legends has been delayed to next year will be pleased to hear that a demo will be released come the console's launch day, giving you a taster of what's to come.
