Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night confirmed for Switch

But we're still a long way from release.

Last thing we heard about Koji Igarashi's new 2D platfomer Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was that 505 Games will serve as publisher for this project originally financed by Kickstarter backers. Also, Iga said that "as timelines move on, certain pieces of hardware become irrelevant" and "sometimes new pieces of hardware come out that make you think about what is the right strategy".

He didn't mention it that day, but now it is official: Bloodstained is not coming to Wii U anymore, but will be on Nintendo Switch. Although there is no announcement of such, the logo of the game appears in a news notice sent inside the news section of the console. Specifically, in a picture with many logos of indie games to the eShop, as noticed by Nintendo Everything.

Another one for a gorwing list of digital games and future eShop releases. But this one is not coming out in 2017 anymore; last year Igarashi confirmed some development issues and delayed the game to 2018.
