Last May, Starbreeze Studios confirmed that they were planning to make another Payday game, and now they've taken it one step further.
The folks over at GameIndustry.biz have gotten their hands on documents from the recent earnings call that confirms that Payday 3 is in development. Unfortunately, we wouldn't hold our breath for a release in the near future, as CEO Bo Andersson Klint had this to add:
"It will be done when it's done. This is our single most important brand today and the cornerstone of our business and we will treat it accordingly."
At least we know they've finally started developing the game, and good things come to those who wait.
