So far we've been treated to either George Washington or Abraham Lincoln as a leader when playing the Civilization games as the Americans, but this will change with Civilization VI. Firaxis Games has just announced that it is the 26th president of the United States of America that get the honours this time - Theodore Roosevelt.
This does of course also confirms the Americans as a playable civilisation in the game, but since they have been in every game in the series so far, we're guessing none of you is shocked by this. The Americans unique building will be a Film Studio and Rough Riders will also be in the game as an unique unit. That was a Calvary regiment led by Roosevelt himself in the Spanish-American War.
Civilization VI is so far only announced for computers and launches October 21.
